Our support groups provide a safe, welcoming space for parents to share their experiences, ask questions, and connect with others navigating similar challenges. Led by experienced facilitators, these groups focus on offering encouragement, practical advice, and emotional support tailored to your parenting journey. Whether you're facing feeding struggles, sleep concerns, or just need a community that understands, we’re here to help you feel empowered and supported. Join us to build connections, gain valuable insights, and find reassurance in a judgment-free environment.
The Parent’s Circle: Parenting & chest/breastfeeding Support

Place: San Diego Breastfeeding Center (8325 University Ave., La Mesa, CA 91942)
Date and Time: Fridays, 10a-11am
Registration is required: Register here
Spend time with other families and babies. Learn and share valuable parenting advice. Find out how much breast milk your baby is getting with a pre- and post-feed weight. Latch, positioning, and other chest/breastfeeding assistance will be offered by a registered lactation consultant or lactation educator.

There is a 5 family maximum
We ask that partners and siblings do not attend at this time so we can accommodate more families
Please bring your own pillow.
In our groups, your feelings will be validated, emotions can be released and most questions/concerns, big or small, about your chest/breastfeeding journey will be answered.
NAMŪ Pregnancy Support Group

Join the NAMŪ pregnancy support group! This 3-session group offers a safe and warm place for pregnant woman to build connections with others as they embark on this meaningful life transition. Learn and share valuable pregnancy advice. Ask a hospital midwife your questions. Hopefully make some new friends in a similar life stage!
The group is facilitated by Kristen Barak-Park, hospital-based midwife and owner of NAMŪ Birth Services. Originally from the Bay Area, Kristen completed training at UCSF to become a Certified Nurse-Midwife in 2020 and has been working at one of the largest hospital groups in California since. She is passionate about empowering pregnant women with the education and confidence to have a meaningful pregnancy and birth journey, regardless of the outcome.
